Born in Shanghai in 1954, Wilfred Lang was encouraged to pursue art early on by his artistic family. He began painting in watercolours at the age of seven, continuing to develop his skills throughout his childhood.
Lang studied at art schools in shanghai and Hong Kong between 1972 and 1976. It was during this time he began to develop his more contemporary methods, now considered his signature style.
Following his studies, Lang travelled extensively while continuing his artistic career. He has lived in Barcelona, Hawaii and Amsterdam, and has had his work displayed in many countries around the world. He has many dedicated collectors, followers and fans.
