“I see my artwork as a personal exercise of exploring the freedom of movement, the beauty of physics, and unity between computer-generated precision with human-intuitive motions. I’m guided by a strong desire to push the boundaries of conventional painting techniques in a world where Ai is rapidly gaining ability to potentially trivialise the effort of handmade works. So I’m really trying to explore and revitalise the human spirit by capturing that essence of what makes humans so drawn to organic work.
In the majority of my work, I endeavour to show a sharp juxtaposition between symmetrical lines and natural paint movements. This makes my paintings stand out rather than blend into their surroundings. I want people to feel the energy behind my paintings and be inspired by each work’s energy and motion” Nick Bultman

What started in August 2021 as a newfound creative outlet, turned into something much bigger than he ever could have expected. Going by the handle @nbultman_art on Instagram and TikTok, Nick Bultman documents his journey with abstract art, making everything from process videos with trendy sounds, to bold, gallery-ready pieces.
Although, he was born and raised in California, Nick currently resides in Gilbert, AZ. He does not have any formal art education but rather graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Nick has always had an interest in the relationship between science, technology, engineering and the creative arts. Having worked in the corporate environment of engineering and sales for several years post-college, he found himself frustrated with his lack freedom to artistically express his deepest intuitions. After years of scrolling through social media, he decided to take these intuitions seriously, document his journey and take the leap from private inspirations to public demonstration.
Nick has since gained over 400,000 followers across platforms such as Instagram and Tiktok and is displaying his art at local Arizona shops and has recently partnered with Red Eight Gallery, located at the iconic Royal Exchange in London. Nick’s focus is to create bold, kinetic, unique works of art while sharing his journey to entertain and inspire others to manifest their creativity.
