Dancer in Red captures a moment of intense grace and sensuality, emblematic of Fabian Perez‘s signature style. This limited edition print showcases the back of a woman in mid-dance, her posture exuding elegance and fluidity. The dancer’s crimson dress, billowing with movement, creates a striking visual contrast against the deep shadows that envelop her back. The fabric twists with her motion, capturing the very essence of dynamic energy present in this artwork.
The artist’s mastery of light and shadow is on full display, as the darkened contours of the dancer’s figure emphasize the sensuality and mystery of the scene. A single earring glimmers delicately, a small yet captivating detail that draws the viewer’s eye and adds a touch of refined elegance to the composition.
Dancer in Red is a powerful expression of the passion and energy that define Fabian Perez’s work, a celebration of both the romantic allure and the mystique of the world he grew up in. The piece reflects his lifelong immersion in the vibrancy and sensuality of the nightlife, and the way in which these elements manifest in his art—full of drama, movement, and rich emotional undertones.

Fabian Perez’s artwork is deeply influenced by his unconventional upbringing. Born in Buenos Aires in 1967, he grew up surrounded by the vibrant nightlife of his father’s nightclubs and bordellos. With his artistic mother and roguish father, Perez witnessed the glamour and romance of a world both passionate and secretive. These memories of stylish and fascinating characters now populate his work.
After losing both parents before his twenties, Perez began traveling the world, refining his artistic skills. During this time, he also discovered martial arts, a discipline that shaped the precision and dedication he later applied to his art.
Perez’s career took off in Italy, where his unique style gained recognition and fame. He eventually moved to the US, where his work continues to earn accolades. Now based in Los Angeles, Perez still creates new works and tours to engage with his ever-expanding following.
