Christoph Ruckhäberle is a German painter and printmaker known for his bold, figurative compositions. A leading figure of the New Leipzig School, he blends elements of socialist realism, cubism, and folk art to create dynamic scenes of social interaction and performance. His vivid color palettes and geometric patterns give his work a striking, contemporary edge.
Exhibited internationally, his work is held in major collections such as MoMA (New York) and the Rubell Family Collection (Miami). He is represented by Campoli Presti (London/Paris), Galerie Kleindienst (Leipzig), and others. Ruckhäberle is also the founder of Lubok Verlag, a renowned art book press, and runs an arthouse cinema in Leipzig.
