Anthony Giles works and exhibits in his studio at 3 Lombard Street Margate Kent. Producing large powerful landscapes of Kent’s beaches and countryside as well as portraits and figure studies, Anthony is one of Margates most well known artists. His stunning work is held in private collections worldwide.
Throughout his life in Margate, Anthony has been captivated by the power and beauty of the local coastline. Translating that fascination into his work, he creates landscape pieces that are monumental in scale and rich in colour and texture. Utilising oils and mixed media, Anthony’s paintings capture the dynamism and intensity of the coastal environment. Believing that art can evoke powerful emotions, he strives to create pieces that do just that, offering viewers the opportunity to bring some of that incendiary energy into their own spaces.
