Framed original
This soft watercolour by John Hoar is a serene illustration of contemplation and spirituality, depiction the interior of a church. John captures the soft interplay of light and shadow filtering through arched windows, illuminating the space in a gentle, almost ethereal glow. Delicate washes of muted and earthy tones represent the weathered stone walls, while splashes of colour in floral arrangements add a subtle vibrancy to the scene.
The diffused light, coupled with the transparent layers of watercolour, creates a sense of tranquility and spiritual reflection. This piece invites us to join in the quiet serenity of the scene.
