Alasdair Wallace

Alasdair Wallace (b. 1967, Glasgow) is an award-winning contemporary painter celebrated for transforming familiar scenes into poetic, surreal reflections of daily life.

A graduate of The Glasgow School of Art, Wallace’s work explores the “edgelands” – the transitional spaces where urban and rural worlds meet.

His paintings combine wit, mystery and precise craftsmanship, resulting in compositions that feel both recognisable and otherworldly.

He has exhibited with The Open Eye Gallery, Rebecca Hossack Gallery and Glasgow Print Studio, and his work is held in major collections including Glasgow Museums, The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation, and The Royal Scottish Academy.
