Artist Bio

Heidi Farrar began painting from a young age. She spent years developing her skills as a self-taught artist, eventually moving into a career as a full-time animal artist and tutor.

Farrar is an enthusiastic advocate of animal rights and environmental issues. She is a member of the association of animal artists (aaa) and often accompanies her paintings with notes on the animals featured.

Farrar is now well-known for her animal artwork, although she occasionally creates a work that is more abstract or graphic in nature, including cartoons. She is also known for her work with children’s art, including art clubs she runs herself. currently, Farrar lives and works in Leeds.
