In Eugie and Geo II, Fabian Perez masterfully captures a moment of casual intimacy and playful connection between two women, beautifully rendered in his signature style. This limited edition piece portrays the two women lounging on a couch, each engaged in her own activity—one absorbed in a phone conversation, the other affectionately petting a dog resting by her side. The relaxed scene is imbued with warmth and subtle humor, as the figures’ differing expressions and body language suggest a sense of ease and affection.
The simplicity of the composition is elevated by Perez’s expert use of light and shadow, which enhances the mood of the piece. The soft play of light on the women’s figures and the dog’s fur draws attention to the textures and details, while the contrasting shadows lend depth and energy to the scene. The playful interaction between the figures—a mixture of focus, relaxation, and shared space—captures a fleeting moment of everyday life, infused with the artist’s characteristic elegance and emotional depth.

Fabian Perez’s artwork is deeply influenced by his unconventional upbringing. Born in Buenos Aires in 1967, he grew up surrounded by the vibrant nightlife of his father’s nightclubs and bordellos. With his artistic mother and roguish father, Perez witnessed the glamour and romance of a world both passionate and secretive. These memories of stylish and fascinating characters now populate his work.
After losing both parents before his twenties, Perez began traveling the world, refining his artistic skills. During this time, he also discovered martial arts, a discipline that shaped the precision and dedication he later applied to his art.
Perez’s career took off in Italy, where his unique style gained recognition and fame. He eventually moved to the US, where his work continues to earn accolades. Now based in Los Angeles, Perez still creates new works and tours to engage with his ever-expanding following.
